CJP’s Dipke Ridicules PM Modi’s Video Promoting Anti-Paper Leak Legislation

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently released a selfie-style video in which he celebrated the approval of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026. In his message, Modi emphasized that the new legislation represents a significant advance in maintaining the integrity of the examination system and promised stringent measures against what he termed the “paper mafia.”

Following Modi’s announcement, Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), took to social media to express his skepticism. Dipke criticized the Prime Minister’s focus on appearances and questioned whether merely enacting stricter laws would effectively address the persistent issue of exam paper leaks.

The CJP has voiced concerns that the legislation prioritizes punitive actions over preventive measures. They argue that real change requires structural reforms, increased transparency, and revisions within the National Testing Agency (NTA) to truly prevent exam paper leaks from occurring in the first place.

Dipke’s response reflects a broader debate about the effectiveness of legislative approaches in tackling systemic issues in India’s examination system. While the government’s move is seen as a step towards credibility, critics like the CJP contend that without addressing root causes and implementing comprehensive reforms, the problem may persist.
