The West Bengal government is set to enhance air connectivity in Purulia district by establishing a new airport under the UDAN scheme, following an agreement with the Centre to be signed on September 28. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced that preparations for the project are complete, with the state government having already applied for the necessary licenses.
