Oman and India have pledged to further develop their strategic partnership, with discussions focusing on key areas such as trade, investment, energy, logistics, and emerging technologies. The meeting, held in Muscat on Friday, was attended by Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, and India’s External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar.
The ministers reviewed the strong historical ties between Oman and India, seeking ways to enhance bilateral cooperation. They highlighted the importance of boosting collaboration between businesses and promoting high-quality investments. The goal is to create new economic opportunities that will be beneficial for both nations, underscoring a mutual commitment to fostering economic growth and stability.
Regional and international developments were also on the agenda, with particular attention paid to the security of maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
